Water is the main resource in an agricultural industry, agriculture is the biggest water
consumption compared to other human activities. Irrigation has a large contribution to agricultural
products and food supplies. Global companies have increased demand for more effective and efficient
treatment of irrigation networks. The challenge faced today is limited resources and environmentally
friendly technology. The city of Solok has 17 irrigation areas with a total length of 66,481 m irrigation
canals, it is not easy to manage these long numbers of channels. Remote sensing and GIS can significantly
support conventional assessment and as a modeling technique with well-visualized data management. The
data needed in this study are agricultural data, development data and field data. The data is combined with
satellite image data, aerial photographs and processed by GIS applications to be displayed to users. With
the availability of good data, it is expected that stakeholders can work effectively and efficientl.
