This study aims to determine the role of change cynicism in moderating authentic leadership
relationships and system change commitments. In this study the population taken was the Inpatient
Nurse RSUD Dr. Muhammad Zein Painan, amounting to 68 people, based on the description above
the authors take a population of 100%. Authentic leadership will be positively related to commitment
for change to be accepted because Path Coefficient is 5.736 greater than 1.96 and T-Value 0.00 is
less than 0.05. Furthermore, the Cynicism Role of change in moderating authentic leadership
relationships on commitment to system changes has a negative effect because because the Path
Coefficient of 0.971 is smaller than 1.96 and the T-Value of 0.332 is greater than 0.05. Future studies
can add variables from other perspectives such as participation in change and others or extend the
object of research to another room in Dr. Muhammad Zein Painan Regional Hospital
